Lightweight body, powerful battery
ROG Flow X13 is made in a metal case 15.8 mm thick, the weight of the laptop does not exceed 1.3 kg. The wavy texture on the surface of the case has not only an attractive design, but also quite practical advantages: the device is easier to hold, and no prints remain on its surface. The laptop runs at full speed when connected to the mains using a 100-watt power adapter with USB Type-C interface, and the built-in battery provides up to 10 hours of battery life in video playback mode.
The hardware configuration of the novelty includes an AMD Ryzen processor (up to 8-core Ryzen 9 5980HS) and a discrete GeForce GTX 1650 video card. Available configurations with two screen options with an aspect ratio of 16:10: refresh rate 120 Hz and Full resolution HD, as well as the usual refresh rate (60 Hz) and 4K Ultra HD resolution. Thanks to the hinge of the laptop, you can open the lid at full 360 ° for easy interaction with the touch screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The cooling system provides high performance ROG Flow X13, despite the compact body. The liquid metal thermal interface improves heat transfer from the processor to the heat pipes, lowering the CPU temperature compared to a standard thermal paste.
Graphic Docking Station
The ROG XG Mobile graphics dock is much more compact than other external cards on the market. At the same time, it hides a powerful graphics processor (up to GeForce RTX 3080 for laptops) with direct connection to the processor via a dedicated PCIe 3.0 x8 bus, the bandwidth of which is higher than Thunderbolt 4. This video card can run up to 1,810 MHz. which is achieved with a power consumption of 150 watts. A separate USB 3.2 Gen 2 bus is designed to support the I / O ports of the docking station, and the built-in power supply of 280 watts can supply power to both XG Mobile and Flow X13.
XG Mobile increases the performance of the complete solution to the level of a desktop gaming system, as well as provides additional ports for easy connection of various peripherals. And it is very compact, so you can take it with you on vacation or travel. Like the laptop itself, the dock comes with a branded case.
